Description: Torasemide is a loop diuretic drug. It works by blocking sodium chloride reabsorption at the thick ascending limb of Henle's Loop (TALH). As a result, water moves out of the body while salt is excreted in urine. Torasemide may be prescribed alone or in combination with other drugs.
Note: All these medications should be taken under doctor's supervision.
